We are committed to  partnership working and The Priory Learning Trust works closely with schools across Castle School Education Trust as part of Pathway Family of Schools. Together, we operate across a diverse family of schools with distinct characteristics and have a clear set of approaches which we all follow.

Our approaches  blend:

1. Clear individual accountability for strategic action, alongside a strong culture of shared responsibility for outcomes.
2. Central expertise to develop and coordinate trust-wide approaches, with school capacity to lead improvement and contribute support and challenge.
3. Sufficient alignment to realise the benefits of being in a trust, with sufficient local flexibility to respond to context.
4. Improving practice by replicating proven trust approaches, whilst giving space for strong practitioners to innovate.
5. Building relationships between schools and practitioners based on contextual networks of recognisably ‘similar schools’ and ‘similar roles’ within the wider trust family - our ‘similar schools’ test for growth.

We also work closely with six schools in Somerset: Chilthorne Domer Church School, Long Sutton C of E VA Primary School, High Ham C of E Primary School, Curry Rivel C of E VC Primary School, Charlton Mackrell VA Primary School and King Ina C of E Academy.
